Who We Are

Chauncey Goss, Managing Partner

Mr. Goss is an expert on the federal budget and the federal budget process. He served as Director of Budget Review and the Deputy Staff Director for Paul Ryan's Committee on the Budget. He is responsible for the analytical underpinnings of the Republican budgets and Ryan's Roadmap for America's Future. In 2010, Mr. Goss left the Committee and founded Goss Practical Solutions. Prior to his service with the Budget Committee, he worked in the National Security Division at the President's Office of Management and Budget and was responsible for helping prepare the President’s defense budgets. Before joining OMB, he worked for a defense contractor and assisted the Pentagon and the Intelligence Community with strategic planning through wargaming and simulation.

Mr. Goss has a Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a BA from Rollins College. He ran unsuccessfully for the United States House of Representatives in 2012.

Porter Goss, Advisor

As former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and the nation’s last ever Director of Central Intelligence, Mr. Goss has a unique perspective and analytical lens through which to view current world events. Mr. Goss was a Member of Congress representing southwest Florida for nearly 16 years. He served as Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence for 7 years and as a Member of the Rules and Ethics Committees prior to that. He was appointed Chairman of the Office of Congressional Ethics by Speaker John Boehner in January 2011 after serving as Co-Chair since the Office's inception. .

Mr. Goss began his career as a clandestine services officer with the Central Intelligence Agency. He later moved to southwest Florida and became involved with local governance. He was the first Mayor of the City of Sanibel and was subsequently appointed to the Lee County Commission.  Mr. Goss is a graduate of Yale University.
